Vintage Design
Super comfortable Howard & Son’s Berners Street sofa with the inside back left leg stamped along with the castors I have the matching pair of armchairs to this sofa listed under my other items Well, where to begin! This sofa is the absolutely finest quality available today, it has a mahogany frame that has feather filled cushions sitting on top of a coil sprung base that have been hessian webbed. The sofa has the Howard torsion beam to the base which is covered by the hessian base cover but you can see it in the pictures The upholstery is worn and could do with being replaced by a fabric of the new owners choice so they can put their personal spin on it.
