Pair 19th Century Neoclassical Cast Iron Garden Urns are ideal for exterior or interior use. Each is a heavy casting that features a splendid neoclassical design inspired by ancient Greek and Roman architecture, with a wide opening at the top. The sides are finely decorated and include lions heads holding floral garlands that encircle the entire vase. The urn flares out once more with a lower floral collar then transitions into the pediment style base with an additional oversize square bottom that ensures stability. There’s a hole at the center to allow proper drainage. Such artifacts have decorated fine homes for literally thousands of years!
