Vintage Design
Produced in Denmark during the 1950s by Søborg Møbelfabrik, it features two sliding doors which open to reveal a beech-lined interior with two adjustable shelves and four dovetail-jointed drawers. The teak carcass is mounted on a beech frame and the legs are capped off with contrasting teak ‘dipped’ feet. Børge Mogensen is regarded as one of the most influential figures in Scandinavian furniture, and with a focus on quality materials and traditional cabinet making techniques he helped bridge the gap between classical furniture making and Danish Modern design. Sleek and sophisticated, this Model 160 Teak sideboard seamlessly blends practical storage with beautiful craftsmanship, making it the ideal addition to any hallway, dining room or open plan living space.
