Description: Hand crafted Fan Back Black Windsor Arm Chair made by Sampson Barnett active in Wilmington, Delaware between 1776-1820s. Chair features curved arms ending in carved knuckles with carved rail with mouse ears with spindles fixed to the saddle seat which rest on turned vase style legs. Chairs has been painted black, more than likely at a later date. Stamped on the bottom of the chair S A Barnett Wilmington. Great chance to own an antique Windsor Chair with early maker’s name.

Condition Report: Good condition with scuff, scratches repairs and wear as expected with age. Sturdy chair
