Vintage Design
Old bench from the early 1900s in solid walnut. Composed of a long seat and four turned wooden legs with nicely designed crosspieces, fitted into the seat in a very elegant way.
Each leg is reinforced with metal flat irons patinated by time, adding a unique touch to the whole. One of the legs no longer has its flat iron which must have broken over time, but this does not affect its general stability and robustness.
The bench being quite long, we can note that the middle bends very slightly.
The bench has been completely restored, treated, sanded, stained then protected with a transparent matte varnish.
