1970s Shōwa Era “Pine Tree” Japanese Silk Byobu Screen

Elegant vintage Japanese 4-panel folding silk screen (byobu), depicting a big old pine tree. Signed. Gouache and ink on silk. Silk border. Lacquered black wood frame with engraved copper corners. Paper and four big Asian style brass hangers on back. Rich colors, detailed. Excellent condition – minor age wear overall, no damage. Japan, Shōwa era, circa 1970s.
