Vintage Design
The model Compass is a flexible and very comfortable arm chair with upholstered and upholstered back and seat. The chair is well known for its ergonomic shape and is characterized by its very high level of comfort.
The frame is in light oak and the armrests are visually appealing with their prominent profile. The legs are oval with a tapered profile with the back legs angled inwards so the chair takes up less space. It also makes it easier to pass behind the chair.
The fabric the chair is covered in is designed by Nanna Ditzel in model Hallingdal 65 from the Danish company Kvadrat. The color is 110 with a light gray base with a little mottled in the fabric. Kvadrat makes very high quality textiles and is used for many of the great Danish furniture masterpieces!
The chair is truly ergonomically shaped and characterized by its high level of comfort. The model feels innovative but has more than 65 years behind it, it was designed back in 1958! See and admire the incredibly fine work that was designed during the 1950s!
The name Compass comes about thanks to the fact that the legs resemble the needles of a compass.
52 cm wide and 44-78 cm high. Up to the armrest, the chair is 64 cm high.
In very good condition with seat and back with new padding and reupholstered with the furniture fabric Hallingdal 65.
