Vintage Design
Finn Juhl designed the FJ sideboard in 1955 for Bovirke. It is part of a series of furniture where Finn Juhl mixed variations of cubist colors, light metal structures and wooden legs. The colors reflect the designer’s fascination with Goethe’s famous color circle, which defined harmony in the German writer’s eyes. Finn Juhl’s own house in Ordrupgaard, Copenhagen, is a prominent example of this concept of color. A model available in stock, drowned finish, white and blue door, blue Enganes drawer.
