Rare Set of 8 Danish Mid Century 1960’s Teak dining chairs designed by Harry Ostergaard for Randers Mobelfabrik Denmark. The chairs have the original blue wool blend upholstery to the chair seats all of which are in excellent condition with no more than light signs of use. No apparent repairs or damage to note that affects the overall condition of the upholstery. The chair frames are constructed of solid teak with rounded angled leg frames which are positioned to a central point to the underside of the chair seat. This design ensures the chair frames and legs are solid and sturdy. The backrests have a gentle curve and have a comfortable sitting position. The back legs are angled to meet the back rest of the chair demonstrating quality cabinetry and exceptional design and cabinetry. The frames are all structurally sound and solid and have no apparent repairs or replacements. Some of the chair backrests at the front have slight difference in tones to the teak which is common and relevant to the natural ageing of the wood and use over the years. The tear of the back rests to the chairs have a nice even tone and as they will more often be viewed from the back when positioned at the table any slight uneven tones will not be noticed Dimensions B/H 81 x S /H 46 x W 50 x D 48 cm
