Orange Scallop Chair Exquisite 18th Century Rosewood & Iron Framed Scallop Shaped Deconstructed Armchair Circa 1790. Stunning and rare antique 18th-century iron framed deconstructed rosewood armchair in stunning rich flame orange velvet with double piped detail. Gorgeous grain in rosewood frame with carved legs, resting on original restored brass and porcelain ‘patent’ wheeled castors. Full photographic restoration showing the use of original square handmade nails within the restored frame, scalloped back bent ironwork frame with traditional hand-stitched, horsehair stuffed hessian wadding with hand stitched detail.
