Vintage Design
The lounge chair made from Manou rattan comes in very good condition. The frame made of dark-stained Manou rattan shows minimal signs of wear. The grids of the back and seats as well as the reed connectors are perfect and undamaged. The armchair has a cushion made from a soft cotton fabric with a contemporary floral pattern. The cushion is flawless and allows for very comfortable sitting. The accompanying ottoman comes in the same style as the armchair and is attractively designed.
The design of the armchairs is reminiscent of the Japanese pagoda style, especially from the rear view. The armchairs were probably made in the late 1960s.
