The first titled ‘Summer Pleasures’ was a four-page article of open-air eating. The first image shows a picnic in front of a Hillman Husky car. The models are Judy Dent, J.Fenton and M.Morrison. The second image of a BBQ features Nicky Haslem, Jenny Wilson & Marie Lise Gres and male models Roger Jones, Peter Townend and one other unidentified.
For the second article ‘Sleep cool this summer, brevity is news in slumber wear; here, four young, engaging looks…’ Duffy photographed four models from above in beds.
The final article is a picture of Lord Snowdon – Mr. Armstrong-Jones – on his wedding day to Princess Margaret on the 6th of May 1960. The first royal wedding ever broadcast on television was viewed by 300 million people. Lord Snowdon worked as a photographer for Vogue with Duffy. On the wedding day, he told Duffy exactly where to stand to get the shot. At the precise moment, the carriage passed by and the newlywed couple looked right at him!
