Vintage Design
Iconic ‘Red & Blue’ model armchair designed by Gerrit Thomas Rietveld in 1918. Made with a black lacquered wood structure, blue seat and red backrest, it is considered the three-dimensional realization of the figurative principles of Mondrian’s art. Made up of fifteen strips joined together in such a way as to form a weave of lines and planes based on verticality and horizontality. It bears the production mark.
