Italian mid-century modern Chair Carimate by Vico Magistretti for Cassina, 1970s Chair mod. Carimate in white lacquered wood with glossy finish and seat, padded and covered in red fabric. The armrests and backrest have a rectangular section and have decorative “bulges” in the structure of the legs corresponding to the insertion of the seat. The four legs have a round section. Produced by Cassina in approx. 1970s and designed by Vico Magistretti. The name of the series is due to the original destination of the furniture, the Carimate Golf Club in Como, which Magistretti designed in 1959. The chair was exhibited at the XII Tiennale in 1960. Logos present under the seat. Vintage condition, the wood has several signs and lacks of color. Small marks on the seat fabric.
